I once worked for this establishment as a night auditor (11 pm-7 am) for close to 18 months. Due to some of the careless staff who worked during the daytime, on more than one occasion, I checked guests into rooms that were dirty in reality but show in up as clean in the system. I checked guests into rooms that showed up as empty in the system but in reality had guests occupying them. On more than one occasion during my stint as an employee there, the second and third floors had to be shut off due to some type of insect infestation. There were even times when the hotel was full and guests would arrive for their reservations, after checking into their rooms, it was discovered that the room lacked linen and/or hygiene products of which the hotel lacked also at the front desk and was totally depleted. When the owners converted the hotel from Ramada to Days Inn, they eliminated mini-fridges in the rooms although they could have kept them in the rooms at no inconvenience to the hotel but much inconvenience to future guests who would need them for various purposes. There is only one ice machine, and that is on the first floor. Lastly, the housekeeping staff (with the exception of one or two staff members) have been questionable people who appeared to be drug users or destitutes. If you decide to stay at this hotel, photograph your posssessions for your records. It is a great possibility that if you leave and return to your room, your possessions will be missing. I have received several complaints during my stint there that guests had possessions which had disappeared.
Nice hotel. They are currently in the middle of a name change from Ramada to Days Inn. Some of the amenities do need updating. But nothing is horrible or unbearable. Staff was nice. Patrice was very helpful.
Patrice who helped with reservations was amazing and very informative. Nice and friendly atmosphere would definitely recommend to anyone.
