I booked a month ago! So I asked the manager if I booked two queens or one King it really doesn't matter what I wanted because I probably wouldn't get it? She said it didn't matter and gave me no excuse. They in no way tried to accommodate us.
The hotel was nice. It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly! The only thing that I didn't like was that the casino was a little small but the games were nice. The other thing was that a maid came to our room around 8 or 9pm to give us chocolate but was trying to just go in our room. It would have been okay if we weren't in the room but we were. Other than that, the stay was great!
If you remember Grand Biloxi, this is not the Grand. They changed name on purpose. They offer several Seven Stars benefits unique among the Total Rewards destinations, but for gaming the floor is VERY small. The staff are all sweet and I highly recommend the Magnolia House restaurant. The food is amazing and you might meet Nick, hands down the best waiter/server I've encountered.
The room was recently redecorated so it looked nice but it hadn't completely been cared for. It wasn't dirty, except some of the glass (window, make up mirror in bathroom) but the dings and dents hadn't been repaired. The buffet and small restaurant in the lobby was good. The staff at the desk was very nice. There weren't a ton of slot machines to choose from but enough to have a good time. The view of the Gulf from the room was nice. The beds we're very comfortable. I would stay there again if the room rate was reasonable.
I have always liked staying at Harrah's. Not anymore. I cancelled two nights and will take our money somewhere that appreciates their customers.
We went back to the front desk and showed them my confirmation. I asked to talk with the manager and she grabbed my phone and took it in another room where the manager was. The manager came out and said she couldn't do anything. They said just because we asked for that specific type room doesn't mean we will get it.
When we arrived, after a 12 hour drive we checked in and went to our room. It was 2 queen beds with a view of the parking garage roof!
Prices are very affordable. Even for standard rooms, they are spacious and seemed updated. (Usb plugs on outlets, alarm clock outlet compatible with apple iPhone 6). Staff is friendly and accommodating. Only complaint is has a hint of smoke in rooms, despite non smoking section (very mild but my fiancee has a sensitive nose and was sniffling all night). Overall very pleasant exp, I would repeat!
I will never stay here again! I booked our comp room plus two extra nights. The room I booked , or so I thought, was the Deluxe King with Gulf View. I called back to see if I could get the price quoted on the internet and the man said I had a better view in this room so I should keep it as opposed to getting the cheaper deal. I agreed.
