Price is nice ($22), and we stayed here escaping from hurricane Irma from Florida. From the first sight there are nice lake, colorful cabins, a putt-putt, pool, hot-tub, recroom, and huge playground for little ones. When you make a turn into actual campground you see cluttered, old campers with junk around them. It looked like 90% are long term residents. We were send to the section across from an old campers graveyard and 2 dumpsters, what a lovely view. Site surface was a concrete pad with open exposure and no shade. We didn't check any amenities and will never stay again.
Remember this could be a great place, The workers only say they enforce it and they do their best to address it all they're looking for is their paycheck. So I guarantee when I come back every week as long as my friend is living in there nothing is going to be accomplished so therefore every week I will do something about it on here or get a hold of the owner to do something about it. Very sad!!!!
Still trash ripped up by ducks and workers ride by on there gulf carts and not picking it up. Still haven’t washed any trailers. NO IMPROVEMENT!!!! SAD.......
Only one pull thru. Clean, excellent office staff. Small interior roads with untrimmed low hanging trees. We were too big at 13 1/2 feet tall and 65 feet long with tow. Lake looked very nice.
Here three month later, nothing has improved!
I came there to visit a friend who just moved in. It is so sad that this park looks like this after you leave the check in area. This could be a beautiful park. The sites are really close together which could be OK, But they need to enforce rules around there about cleaning up their sites. I took some pictures of this place and how bad it is. The question is would the owner live beside one of these? I guaranteed not!! It's not hard to enforce rules make them clean up their sites or charge them so much money a month and do it yourself. I'd be more worried about the refrigerators outside kids getting inside them or the washers and dryer's and the kids could get inside. Wouldn't like to see kids die because rules weren't enforced or because of the clutter. Trash bags laying on the ground with trash all over in front of their RVs dogs have tore up. Wasn't cleaned up all day, security run around on their little go cart and seen it never said nothing about it just drove on bye. Or how you can't throw the road because it's blocked all day by now where to park. If an ambulance or police officer had to come through they couldn't get through because I couldn't get out. I had to back up the road and go around. Which is against the rules are one Ways. But again no way out. Maybe the owner should come and look at this or that it should be attended to bring to his attention.
Descent but not outstanding. It’s clear it needs maintenance. 3 showers didn’t work and other buildings need repairs. The lake, pool and playground are nice. I would have given 4 stars if not for the clientele. The park is populated with a lot of residents of dubious character.
(BEDBUGS) (BEDBUGS) Well this is horrific!!!! me and my wife joined our friends on Friday night October 27th 2017 for a birthday celebration for one of her friends they paid for our stay here. After a night out we returned to cottage # 7 where we went right to sleep at 8:00 am I was awakened by my wife's screaming and panic. I jump out of bed to see what is the problem and there is ( BEDBUGS !!! ) YES (BEDBUGS!!!) everywhere we have had to throw away clothes and luggage! And are praying we don't infest our home by chance. Please don't allow your family to stay here unless they can show a certificate of eradicating the ( BEDBUGS). We hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, we are honestly still traumatized and so afraid they could have traveled back with us to infest our home!!
