I wanted to like this place. The photo below is their kung pow lobster tacos. The price is above average on their menu and honestly I struggled to find any lobster meat. The taste is dominated by taco seasoning and shrimp. I was pretty disappointed. The dish could have been great if it was executed properly and actually lobster as advertised.
Great food. Most unaccommodating staff. Ever
The atmosphere was less than impressive for casino life. Almost like a nursing home cafeteria. My husband ordered ribeye medium with frites and it came with green beans. I ordered shrimp, fries and it came with green beans and coleslaw.
The steak came rare, it had absolutely no flavor at all, no seasons what so ever. Canned green beans have more flavor than what we were served. The cole slaw was awful, once again no flavor and the texture was strange. My fries some were cold some were luke warm. This was one of the worst restaurants we have visited, so much so that this is the first review that I have written about a restaurant. We made sure the rest of our family DID NOT go there for dinner. Disappointed is being kind.
Edit: They initially sent the wrong dish out. The second photo is of the actual menu item. It's pretty good. I've been here over an hour and I'm just starting to eat though. I arrived at 2:45pm on a Tuesday, there's only about 8 tables seated. I can't bring myself to increase the star rating even though they corrected the meal.
In the past the food good but they must have new cook now. Food is cold, beens cold and grease, fish taste fishy,but the staff is really nice and accommodateting . Price is now way up so they give you lots of cold Fry's .
Absolutely wonderful food, and quality service. Best cafe on the Gulf Coast!
