Not a very helpful place. I came there to have a more fluid transition and to have an expert guide me through the process; instead they directed me into doing things myself, all the while giving me excuses of their lack of experience and knowledge. I guess since I am not buying, providing customer services aren't as important to Tmobile anymore? Oh, by the way, they also directed me to call customer services instead when they had 3 people and only 1 was helping someone. I guess people prefer to get paid while not doing anything.
This is not a criticism against Tmobile but a direct review on the workers of this location.
Basically, if I needed a robot, someone on the phone or myself to take care of the issue, I should not have gone in that location. They were a waste of my time. The people in 49 were a lot more helpful and friendly. The workers gave me the impression that they would rather I fix my own issue by myself instead of them assisting me. I guess, they don't need jobs?
I am not a customer of T Mobile but I was in need of a phone accessory so I went in. I was asked what I needed help with and I told the guy specifically what I wanted. The other sales rep told the guy where in the store to look for the item. He picked out a box and told me this is what I asked for. I was looking at the display and there was another box like it next to the one he grabbed and I asked what the difference was. He said nothing. Trusting his word I bought it and left. When I opened the product it was not what I asked for. I called to ask if I could return the item and the store manager said yes. So again I went back to the store to find the same guy who sold me the wrong product there and his manager. They both were helping others. In the 20 min I was in the store the guy messed up two cash register transactions, shouted "I made a GD mistake" as he made one of them, loud enough for the whole store to hear, and had his pants hanging down to knees so that we all got an uncomfortable viewing of his boxers. Thankfully the store manager was able to keep her cool despite the unprofessional, poorly trained guy working with her. I felt so sorry for her but was grateful that she worked my return into all that was going on so I didn't have to wait forever.
I work here so I know how we operate and also the ins and outs of all things technology. Come see me for a real friendly customer experience. I will get you in and out.
My first impression of this location was not a good one. My husband's phone had stopped working. As soon as we tried to make this clear to the staff, the manager (of all people) was very dismissive. Once she felt like assisting us, she was pressuring my husband into upgrading repeatedly. She told us we would receive a text to my phone when my husband's new phone arrived at the store in exactly 3 days. 5 days later, no text. We contacted the store and she said it wasn't there and to keep waiting for a text. 5 more days pass, we contacted T-Mobile customer service line. Turns out, it was there on the third day, like it was promised. My husband called the store frustrated. The phone had been there! He needlessly waited a week for his phone. My husband picked it up and was upset. He just wanted an explanation for why this happened. The staff had the audacity to treat my husband like it was his fault! The manager named Ashlee seems to not understand what customer service really is. When he walked into the store, the first thing she said was "Don't be calling here fussing!" He said he was addressing actual concerns. He sat there waiting for 20 minutes, before a trainee who wasn't authorized to help my husband, did so. The other staff members refused to help my husband because of their error. The sweet trainee Elizabeth was the only professional employee in that building. They should replace the entire staff and make her manager. She seems to know more about customer service anyway.
Ashley and Elizabeth were the best. I have had my galaxy note 2 for over 6 years. They help me upgrade and made the experience worth it. This staff is beyond 5stars. I witnessed Ashlee offer the best advice to a coworker on life matters. They seem more like a family there. Thanks!!!
